• Independently Selected & Thoughtfully Curated. As an independent bookstore, bringing attention to local authors and independent publishers is important to us. We strive to bring you unique selections, as well as cherry-pick the national bestsellers we think you will enjoy. Our booksellers have spent months agonizing over the process of selecting only 70 out of 200,000 new books published this year for inclusion in this catalog. The result is a carefully curated selection spanning a range of reading interests and prices.
  
  
• Succinctly Reviewed. The Booksmith introduces six word book reviews. In the age of information overload, we believe in “less is more.” That’s all we have to say.
